The System Needs You: Join a Community of Action-Focused Advocates

In a world where systems feel broken, our programs are built for those who bring a clear-eyed, roll-up-your-sleeves realism to change.

VLGS equips purpose-driven outsiders with the knowledge and courage to speak truth to power and advance justice.

Our programs are rooted in equity, access, and systemic change. You will learn how legal frameworks influence policy outcomes. You’ll master analytic methods to impact real-world policy through advocacy, government relations, and lobbying.

Real People. Real Issues. Real Impact.

We don’t just talk about theory. In our master’s programs, you will engage with the complexities of public policy to create concrete solutions. Choose your program:

  • Master of Public Policy (MPP) offers five specialty tracks to choose from. The program is designed to equip you with the expertise and practical skills needed to navigate and address intricate public policy challenges in: Animal Protection Policy, Clean Energy Policy, Food and Agricultural Policy, Justice Reform Policy, or Transnational Environmental Policy. (40 credits; online or hybrid)
  • Master of Arts in Restorative Justice (MARJ) is an immersive program designed for those driven to revolutionize our justice system. You will study restorative approaches to harm, healing, and accountability through applied learning in mediation and community-based practice. (30 credits; online, on campus, or hybrid)
